Some information about Subbing in ACL:

*Uses librarian and associate librarian subs. (Also employs subs at the aide level but don't know the job title)
The librarian subs primarily staff the reference desks; the associate librarian subs provide reference backup and also do some circulation.

*Rate of pay for librarian subs: $14.60/hr

*Subs get notified of shifts via a combination of emails and phone calls (for last-minute of assignments)
No AESOP.

*Limit of 1039 hours a year that subs can work?

*ILS used is Unicorn Work Flows (a Sirsi-Dynix product)

*Uses Dewey Decimal system
