Considering the upper limit of 1039 hours a year (average of 20 hours a week) that one can sub in Hennepin County, how do you cope?
Do you work all the hours you can now because you need the money now? Do you try to spread out the hours so you can work throughout the year? Or does this not concern you as you already have a full time or job in addition to subbing and will never get close to the limit? For those who are concerned about the 1039 limit on hours, which of the following applies to your situation? *I currently work another job to supplement my income *I don't work a second job but am looking for one (If yes, are you limiting your search to library jobs or will consider other avenues) *I am trying to get by on subbing alone

While some substitutes would love to work full time hours if they could, others already work a full time job and have to worry about fitting subbing in to meet the minimum required hours. For those who can only work limited hours/days, how do you balance subbing with everything else?
