ACL always takes applications for subs. To apply, submit a cover letter, resume, and an Anoka County Application.

Carver
Same as Anoka, fill out Carver County application.

Dakota
Yes you must get on a list and take an entrance test to get on list. Does not accept sub applications unless there is an opening for subs?

Ramsey/St. Paul
Advertises openings at least annually, possibly every six months. One interview for FT, PT, and sub work. Applicant resumes are reviewed and qualified applicants are selected for an oral exam. After exam, applicants receive written notification of oral exam score position (e.g., you are 5th, 8th, 24th.) People are called for interviews starting with highest score and proceeding through the list.

Scott
Scott County always takes applications for subs. To apply, submit a Scott County application.

Washington
Washington County has had subs which they eliminated. They just give extra hours to part-time internal staff. This was frustrating to staff that likes to take off for months at a time or parents that wanted to be flexible for their children.
